June Update - Wild Harmonies 0.6


Hey all! Ready for more singing werewolf action? Fortunately, I managed to get all the writing I wanted to do for this month done, so there's plenty more to read now, and plenty more to read next month too. Without further ado, let's get into the update notes!

What's new:
- Balto Day 6: Not much to say. You're mostly on your own for this day, aside from a couple potentially awkward conversations. Have fun!
- Trax Day 6: We’re slowly beginning to learn more about him, but it doesn’t seem like he’s ready to open up to you yet. There’s also a few different scenes you might wake up to depending on how you ended day 5…
- Balto has his new sprite implemented!
- The new Logo has been added!

What's fixed:
- Bugs brought to my attention in the initial version of the build.
- The Fast Forward button is working (if it didn't work in 0.5, it definitely works now)
- Grammar and spelling mistakes from 0.5

What's in store:
- Drellis' new sprite is in the works. The first sketch was posted on my Patreon a couple weeks ago.
- Day 7 content! Aelfric and Balto have their days completed and are currently in the 0.7 release. Trax and Drellis will be getting their update next.
- The UI will continue to get small updates. Next up is the menu screen background.
- A bunch of little animation updates that make things look better. Smoother transitions and sprite movement are planned, and flipping will be animated!


I only have one week of vacation in June, and it's in a place with no internet, which means plenty of time to get writing done in the evenings with nothing but family to distract me. Hopefully everyone enjoys the developments that are happening! I'm excited to bring you all more in the future.

As I continue getting into the story, I'm going to start wanting to get CGs done for certain upcoming scenes, and those are Not Cheap™. There's already a couple that I'd really like to have CG's for, but I need all the main characters to have sprites before I can start getting those done. I also would love to start investing on real background art rather than random images off of google. The current ones do their job, but I don't want to have a repeat of the accidental AI background incident. The UI will continue to get small updates as well, and all of those are things that I don't have the skills to design myself.

Regardless of all that, the story will continue, even without all the visual aspects I want, and I hope that it's been as gratifying for you to read as it's been for me to write!
